Alliance Cargo Ship: boarding, refreshes & rewards
Prepare a Golden Cargo Ship, understand cabin selection and protect the rewards aboard.

Participation and daily ships
Your alliance needs at least 20 members. You need the Shipping Dock unlocked and must have been in the alliance for at least 24 hours.
The standard rules allow one regular ship and two purchased Mega Express Cargo Ships per day. Only the top 50 alliances in a kingdom receive the daily regular ship. Alliance privileges can modify limits, so check the current allowance in game.
Preparing a departure
An R4 or R5 appoints a captain for the regular ship. A purchased Mega Express Cargo Ship makes its buyer the captain. Preparation lasts four hours, after which departure is automatic.
The captain assigns escorts and refreshes the cargo. After five refreshes, the ship becomes a Golden Cargo Ship. There are four cabins, numbered from bow to stern, with different rewards.
Boarding: check which rule set you have
The game contains two boarding systems. Read the rules on your current ship to see which one applies.
| System | How passengers are selected |
|---|---|
| Standard queue | Five passengers are selected randomly from each cabin’s queue when preparation ends. |
| Trade Contract queue | Selection prioritizes Lords who gifted more Trade Contracts, up to each cabin’s available slots. Equal contributions are decided randomly. |
Standard queue
- How passengers are selected
- Five passengers are selected randomly from each cabin’s queue when preparation ends.
Trade Contract queue
- How passengers are selected
- Selection prioritizes Lords who gifted more Trade Contracts, up to each cabin’s available slots. Equal contributions are decided randomly.
Trade Contract refunds
In the Trade Contract version, gifting does not guarantee a seat. If you are not selected, the Trade Contracts spent on boarding are returned by mail when the passenger list is finalized. Contracts already received by the captain are not deducted.
If Gems were used to cover missing contracts, that portion is refunded as Trade Contracts rather than Gems. Queue for the cabin you actually want, and check the available slots and competing contributions.
Attacks and remaining rewards
Under the standard rules, a successful plunder takes three random cargo slots, and a ship can be plundered up to three times. Alliance privileges can alter the allowed attempts.
You cannot attack the ship you are aboard or attack a ship during its protection period. Defense forces cannot be changed after departure.
The captain receives the remaining rewards from all cabin slots plus the captain’s slots. Selected passengers receive the remaining rewards from their own cabin. Inspect the ship’s log for losses and final rewards.
A simple departure checklist
- R4/R5: appoint the captain early enough for members to queue.
- Captain: set escorts and review cabin rewards before departure.
- Passengers: choose a cabin during preparation and check the boarding rules.
- Trade Contract passengers: remember that contributing does not guarantee boarding.
- All members: check the departure timer, ship log and reward mail.
