Crafting, enhancement and promotion
Crafting creates an item. Enhancing it increases its level, while promotion uses its separate material requirements. They are different costs.
Use the Gear calculator to plan Enhancement Ore, Gold and promotion materials. Its upgrade totals do not include the cost of first crafting the item.
Choosing what to upgrade
Match the item’s attributes to the Hero’s role and skills. An offensive stat on a support or defensive Hero is not automatically the best use of limited materials.
Compare equipment at the same enhancement and promotion progress. Crafting materials and prices should be checked on the active Smithy screen before spending.
