What are Shimmer Coins?
Shimmer Coins are the exchange currency used by the Kingdom Fair. During the event, you can purchase them and spend them on rare items in its shop.
Purchasing Shimmer Coins also builds bonus progress. Reaching a progress milestone lets you claim its extra reward.
Do unused coins expire?
No. The event rules explicitly say unused Shimmer Coins carry over to the next Kingdom Fair. There is no need to spend the remainder simply because the event is about to close.
Daily and event purchase limits
The shop distinguishes daily stock from stock limited across the whole event. Packs refresh daily; individual exchange offers can have different restock rules. Read the offer’s remaining-today or remaining-event counter before planning purchases.
A sold-out offer is different from a currency shortage. More coins will not bypass the offer’s purchase limit.
How to choose a purchase
- Choose the upgrade or item you want before buying currency.
- Check its coin cost, remaining stock and whether you can complete the purchase this event.
- Include any bonus-progress reward you will actually reach in your comparison.
- Avoid spending only to use up a small balance: coins can be saved for a later event.
